Many internists enter into practice following the completion of their basic internal medicine training. These physicians practice “general internal medicine” and are commonly referred to as “general internists.” General internists are equipped to handle the broad and comprehensive spectrum of illnesses that affect adults and are recognized as experts in the diagnosis, treatment of chronic illness, and health promotion, and disease prevention.
The service operates in a full electronic/ digital imaging environment, supported by a new Radiology Information System (RIS) and Picture Archiving and Communications System (PACS).
Routine Radiography for any part of the body, Mammography, Ultrasound; Abdomen, Small parts of the body, Breast, Arterial, and Venous Doppler Examination, Ultrasound-Guided Biopsy, and Drainage of the abscess.
CT SCAN (64 MD) is a High-resolution fast CT scan that provides examination for Forehead, Neck, Chest, Abdomen, Extremities, and Whole-body scan.
CT Angiography including any part of the body and Coronary Angiography for Calcium Scoring, CT Guided biopsy, and drainage.
MRI (1,5 T) Head, Neck, Bones, and Joints, Soft tissue Extremities, S spine, Abdomen, Pelvis, and Breast.
Portable exam inwards and operating theatres.
